US Highway 231 near City Limits
This is a small town with only one traffic light. The speed limit drops from 55 to 30 as you enter town from either north or south. The speed trap is worse at night, but it is heavily enforced all day long. It is not a heavily congested area, but is strictly enforced.

At no place in the town of Blountsville does the speed drop to 30 mph. The lowest limit is 35 right thru the heart of town. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 at the city limits and then to 35 one block before you get to the business district and increases to 45 2 blk past the business district. It stays at 45 to the town limit as you leave town. Whoever filed this complaint obviously was not paying attention as the limit is never 30 mph.
This is a speed trap city! Locals call it the welcoming committee ! They sit at both ends of the town just waiting
