US Highway 26 Sunset Hwy. near Shute/Helvetia Rd. Over pass Road
The officers are at times on motorcycles and other times on patrol cars. They park on top of the overpass bridge (Shute Rd/Helvetia Rd)Exit 61 and can monitor both east and west sides of Highway 26 (Sunset Hwy.) Be aware. This trap is the very next exit after Cornelious Pass going West and Jackson School Rd Traveling east.

This has been a favorite section of US26 that the local and state police have been using for several years. The area west of here until you get past exit 57 is heavily patroled with numerous radar set up sites. Be very aware!!!
I don't know how this is not a speed trap. Anyway, I used to work at Intel, living in Portland. A number of times, I'd see training for the rookies for using laser guns for cars going east. In general, it is best to go slow past overpasses in Oregon.
