Highland Heights Police patrol this area regularly. Usually you’ll see the first ones around NKU (Northern Kentucky University) Campus, but expect to see more until you get to Cold Spring (when you don’t see stores on either side of the street past the fire station). Don’t speed and don’t run red lights and you will be fine. Watch the posted limit as you first get into Highland Heights (just past NKU) as the speed limit is the lowest anywhere on US 27 in Campbell Co, around 30 to 35 mph. Highland Heights uses K band radar, while nearby Cold Spring uses Ka.
