US Highway 287
US HWY 287 Southbound. Local police car, will hide in the center divide at night and heavily enforce the 65MPH night rule (irregardless of day of month). City needs the traffic tickets revenues very badly to fund eroding tax payer base. Thus, no warnings, just straight up tickets….and while at that, they will add couple of MPHs to the actual speed. A very savvy method of jacking up your ticket, since you cannot request the speed reading.

It is painfully obvious many of you all don't know what a speed trap is. if there are no signs warning of decreased speed but someone is stopping motorists and issuing citations... SPEED TRAP! If there are citations being issued to motorists driving over POSTED SPEED... not a trap... just speeders being caught. Seriously people... pull up your big girl panties and stop whining. Obey the posted speed limit and you won't get tagged with a hard copy.
