US Highway 29 near Entire road through county
The entire stretch of US-29 through the county is patrolled pretty steadily by VA State Police, they have an office north of Tightsqueeze. They tend to prey on out of state plates and are out more during the summer months. The speed limit on the road ranges from 45-65 with changes coming suddenly and in some unexpected areas so it’s valuable to keep a watch on the signs.
