US Highway 30 near Pennsylvania Turnpike

North Huntingdon, PennsylvaniaAug 16, 20071 Comments

Eastbound US 30 about 3 miles west of the Irwin interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Motorists coming down the "Jacktown Hill" can expect to be stopped if exceeding the 40 mph speed limit. This is a 4 lane highway, and if a motorist is going the speed limit when approaching the top of the hill, he or she will be going 60mph at the bottom of the hill unless the motorist applies the brakes, which is normally unnecessary given the prevailing traffic conditions and the state of the road.

Comments:
I told them "Its a shame you use the natural terrain to your advantage instead of catching true speeders elsewhere"
