US Highway 32 near Triangle Drive

Ste Genevieve, MissouriApr 22, 20041 Comments

The trap is on the outside of a curve on the left hand side of the road just as you enter the business area of Ste Genevieve coming from the west traveling on highway 32. The trap was set in the morning with the sun in my eyes making it very hard to see speed limit signs and the city police car. I had just finished braking my speed to 45 mph per speed limit sign when a second sign required I brake to 35 mph. Too late, I was caught going 47 mph per the officer. This cost me $126 to visit a tourist town with nothing good to show for

Comments:
I say "Good Job" to the officer. You people all need to learn to drive the speed limits because they are posted for a reason. If it is posted 35, that means 35 not 47. If it is posted 70, that means 70 not 71, 72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80 etc. You who "break" the rules deserve the tickets.
