US Highway 380 near Lake Bridgeport Crossing
As you enter Runaway Bay from the East on US 380, the speed is reduced from 70MPH to 55MPH at the city limits sign. The catch is after you have left the town you will find yourself well beyond any form of civilization, structures or interchanges. Then a city limits sign and resumption of 70MPH. The local municipal cops terrorize motorists in this vacant area within the city limits, yet in the middle of nowhere.

terrorizes? You mean he enforces our laws to keep the residence safe from those who do not know how to read; Posted Speed Limit Signs? And obviously you are going to fast through our city limits to see that just west of town there is a park, a public pool and a ball field. And there are houses to the north and south side of 380 all the way to where the speed picks back up to 70mph. Sounds to me like you met our friendly Professional officer at one time. Slow down until you see the speed sign, next time!
