US Highway 40/National Road near Airport Access Road
As you enter Vandalia on eastbound US 40, the speed limit drops from 55 to 35. On the west edge of town are four new car dealerships. John Law likes to hide in/near the car lots and "blend in" with the vehicles parked there. It gives him perfect cover to set up his activities.

I was driving to the airport, very early morning. I was 10 MPH over the limit. Got pulled over. Cop was very professional, very polite. Asked me to slow it down in the future and sent me on my way. He asked me if I was carrying my weapon that morning and I replied "no". I believe having a Conceal Carry Permit contributed to me not getting a ticket.
