US Highway 41 near State Highway 114
A trooper works this area relentlessly any time of day. I was 9 over the limit of 60 mph and got a ticket. I have driven 70 on this road from Chicago to Terre Haute for years and never got a look from any police. Ticket was over $100 but paid $150 for deferral. Slow down in Newton County!

Bored State and County Police who fulfill their revenue obligations by traffic stops resulting in large fines especially in Newton County! Ask the police after stop about calibration of speed detection equipment and spend a night in Newton Jail!
