US Highway 41
As you are getting ready to go over the Punta Gorda Bridge northbound the lanes reduce from three to two. Just at the base of the bridge there is usaully a cop sitting there catching people trying to beat the person next to them before the lane is gone. I have seen this happening alot since one of my favorite places to visit is right near this spot.

As a resident of Punta Gorda for 15 years I have been traveled past this site on more occasions than I can count. I have never seen a police or sheriff car sitting there.
