US Highway 50 near Sunrise Boulevard
During the morning hours, between 8:30A-11:00A, traffic heading eastbound Highway 50, about half a mile before the Sunrise Blvd offramp, hiding in the shadows of the tall trees is CHP with LIDAR guns picking off drivers. With their patrol cars running and the door open, they stand just outside their door to aim the LIDAR gun.
