On the outskirts of carbondale by around the U-Haul Rental is a used car dealer on the edge. There is always a cop sitting there pulling one after another over. The speed limit jumps from 30-45 and is right before the highway turns 55.

Posting is overstated -- not "one after another." A cyclone blew down the fence that police used to hide behind, so it is not as effective a trap as it used to be. Although a police car is often parked there, hiding behind used cars across from the dairy, it looks for vehicles going >11 mph over the speed limit. The increase to 45 is 1/10 mile north. The speed limit of 55 is now a mile north, due to a fatal accident.
