US Highway 59 near FM 242
Patton Village police set up monitoring on US 59 and Texas FM 242, to include stop sign moving violations at the intersection fo FM 242 and the US 59 access road.

Watch out for the new Police motorcycles,they use Laser and usually operate in both North and South lanes, sometimes two officers and bikes working the Splendora, Patton Village areas of Hwy 59,they love to hide or drive up behind you as they can be difficult to see before it's to late! They also operate "blacked out" at night and use some "slicktop" Ford Crown Vics, pickups have also been used! This stretch of highway 59 has been an on/off speed trap for the past 30 plus years! Beware!
