US Highway 59 near State Route 242
About a one mile stretch between the hwy 242 overpass and the Roman Forest overpass. Southbound traffic to Houston is the most susceptible. After you go under 242, you come up a small hill and there is where you will usually see the cruisers parked.

New highway construction in this are now but the local cops are still out there on the highway between Splendora and Woodbranch.... they will pull you over in a heartbeat..... stay below the posted limit....
What a bunch of crooks! I left the freeway and lowered my speed to 50 then saw a sign that said 45 mph but before I could even slow down I was pulled over and given a ticket for 5 miles over the speed limit! I took DRIVERS ED so it wouldn't be on my insurance, .but still had to pay court cost of $65 and pay the full cost of the ticket which was $85! I even turned them in to the TEXAS DEPT OF PUBLIC SAFETY but they said each city can make their own rules! What a bunch of crap!!!
