The only posted speed limits on business route 60 in Rogersville are those leaving town at city limits. Both on the Greene County and Webster county side of the city, there are no postings of speed limits coming into town and people are being cited for the lower speed limit that is posted only at the city limit, and only to the direction of leaving town. So strangers are not aware of speed limit as they come into town and getting pulled over and cited for excess speed, even though they are following the last known speed limit…..and Webster county prosecutor’s office not doing anything about it but prosecuting people for it! Nothing being done to address the speed trap…just letting it go on….how many people have improperly paid tickets for that area and for how long…how much does the counties and state now owe people for these back tickets and for malicious prosecution?
