US Highway 64 near Mile Marker 14
Eastbound on US 64 at Mile Marker 14 (4-lane) to the west of Fayetteville, TN the speed limit decreases from 60 mph to 50 mph about 5 miles outside of town. There are no schools or industry, absolutely nothing to indicate a need to reduce speed for safety. Trooper sits at bottom of hill and gets people cresting that hill.

The speed limit drops only when you get into town. The speed limit at mile 14 is 65and it doesn't drop till you get to Coldwater road.
