Nov. 07, come out of AR into LA on US Hwy 65 on a Sunday Morning at 8AM. A Deputy Sheriff (K-9 Unit), (with a civilian passenger with him), was running radar just across the State Line. I was the only vehicle on the road at the time, but he thought it was necessary to give me a ticket for 70 in a 55. I guess it’s their was of welcoming you to the State of LA. I have seen numerous Deputy Sheriff’s running Radar from the AR State Line on US Hwy 65 all the way down to the Natchez area. Sounds like a waste of taxpayers money to pay them to act like State Troupers instead of being available in the rural areas when needed.
