US Highway 65 near State Highway 25North

Greenbrier, ArkansasDec 30, 20052 Comments

Trap is on the main route to Branson,Missouri.Emphasis is on out of state vehicles. The little town is money hungry.Drive at least 5 miles below the limit which is variable over a two mile section. It varies from 35,40 and 45 mph.

Comments:
There is no speed trap in Greenbrier. This intersection (Hwy 65 and Hwy 25) is rarely patrolled by anybody. It is outside the limits of Greenbrier. The sheriff's department has jurisdiction and one rarely finds a sheriff car there. This information is inaccurate, whacko, and untrue. Probably given by some pervert speeder who might have gotten a ticket there.

Hwy 25 cuts through Greenbrier. It joins Hwy 65N in the center of town and then splits off for Guy just north of town (but still in the Greenbrier School District). Do we argue with and insult the person who reported this "speed trap" or accept the fact that if you speed through Greenbrier, you just might get a ticket. The information was not totally "inaccurate, whacko, and untrue" as you commented. And what's with the "pervert speeder" comment. Dude, you need to go to Same Ole Joe's and chill with a sandwich and sweet tea. Everybody else, Slow Down in Greenbrier.
