US Highway 67 near Mile Marker 70 – 46

If you travel on Colorado Hwy 67 from Divide to Cripple Creek your chances of meeting and greeting one of the Colorado State Patrol’s finest are high. The road is very curvy and dangerous with many injury and fatal wrecks, day and night. The Trooper are polite but have no sense of humor and will not give you a break.

Comments:
I was coming home from work on 67 and passed a vehicle going way under speed limit, the CSP tailed me all the way from Gilette flatts to just before divide, then he turned his light on asked me why I kept speeding up, I said you tail ended me all the way down the mountain you scared me I didn't know it was a CSP could have been a killer or something for all I knew. Then he said he followed me because I didn't turn my blinker on to merge back into the lane after passing a vehicle.. A vehicle was at Gilette Flatts, not Divide And by the way he had bright lights and it was dark.
