US Highway 69 near School
Wells is one of the most notorious speed traps in all of Texas. They are either moving running radar north and south bound –or stationary–hiding by a drop off on 69 south of town.

Pay attention to your surroundings! All traffic signs in the State of Texas say the exact same thing. Take responsibility for your actions, if you speed expect to get a ticket. If you do not get stopped this time you will get stopped eventually. TxDot sets the speed limit signs and the speed limit on all highways, you getting a ticket doesn't make it a speed trap.
