US Highway 69 near US Highway 19
When traveling on Hwy 69 in Emory there is a section of the hwy between Hwy 19 & FM515 which is 50 MPH and it is a favorite section for the local Emory police as well as the State Troopers. They sit under the trees just slightly out of the line of site. The speed limit goes from 50 to 60 but they absolutely will ticket you if you go over 50 before you reach the 60 sign! (The troopers also love FM515)

Why does the city need 4 police officers?
