US Highway 8 near 302nd Street
Female cop sits on side of road facing Lindstrom, in front of the old hospital. This is a deadly spot if you have problems monitoring the pressure on your gas pedal. And this woman is vicious…….no humor at all, she is very strict about the 50mph limit, and takes no gruf. She sits in the dark, with her lights off….don’t ask her if she can do that, I did, it was bad. Just be carefull here, she wrote me for 9 over, I have seen other Lake Area cops sitting here too. It must be a gold mine for the city….

I walk with my friend along the Hwy 8 frontage road at 5 a.m. each weekday morning. I have seen this particular patrol car sitting where the writer describes. It is a very dark part of the road and a VERY dangerous place for the patrol car (or any car) to be parked. My friend and I commented on the fact that there are no lights on on the car - not even the rear lights are on and the car is mostly black. The road is narrow there too. This female cop must be a blonde if she's unaware of how unsafe this is. But just FYI - none of the Chisago cops have a sense of humor!
