Highway 90 from Ocean Springs to Gautier is one of the most notorious spots in Mississippi to be pulled over. At this point, you have Highway Patrol, Gautier, and Ocean Springs police all patrolling this area. The speed limit is also 55 on a completely open straight-away where there is nothing to hit, so typically traffic is upwards of 65-70 miles per hour. When coming to the intersection by La-la Land, be sure to slow down early as the highway patrol hangs in the trees in the median making it nearly impossible to see them.
