US Highway 92 West near US Highway 17 / Woodland Blvd.
DeLands finest hide behind the old Wal-Mart store, just west of U.S. 92( N. Woodland Blvd.) looking towards the west in the early morning hours. Very hard to see until you are upon them. Motorists headed towards DeLand should beware.

Definitely a trap. Most active in the mornings, especially weekends. Occasionally just one cop at the trap, but usually it's two working in relays. When they see oncoming (eastbound) traffic, they quickly walk into the right lane from behind the fence and fire the radar gun (KA). Adding to the hazard is the speed limit dropping from 45 to 35 just before this location.
Some clarification on the streets: The road in question is Intl. Speedway Blvd., which is County Road 92 west of Woodland. Woodland is US 17-92 south of ISB and US 17 north of it. ISB becomes US 92 east of Woodland all the way into Daytona Beach.
