US Highway Main highway through town near State Highway Hwy. 281
Coming into town the speed limit is lowered several times. Local police wait at the various signs, which are often difficult to see, especially coming from the south. Some are hidden by tree branches until you get right to them and then it is too late to slow down before they catch you on radar.

TxDOT controls US281 and the trees are cleared far off the roadway as per their governance of "right of ways". Are the signs mounted off in a field somewhere?
