US Highway US 287 near State Highway 7 miles east of State Highway 70 and 7 mi east of State highway 203
Lelia Lake is a very small community with essentially no traffic (local traffic nonexistant), no adjacent businesses
or other potential obstruction. There is only one sign designating the reduced speed from 70 mph to 55 mph so if you happen to be on the inside lane next to semi-truck and do not see the sign you are out of luck. The Deputy sheriff
hides between two snall buildings on the south side of the highway.
