The entire stretch of Hwy 175 is the cities source of income. I asked for a jury trial, and had a hung jury until the judge at the direction of the prosecutor told the jury they had to stay until they reached a verdict which is legal but the judge was so in awe of tjw prosecutor that she looked to her for every piece of evidence I tried to enter and every objection I made. After the construction was finished there the speed limit was different going north than it was entering town from the south. It was explained to me in court that the speed limits were posted correctly and I could never get Txdot. to give me a straight answer about what the correct speed limit was, but suddenly tjw signs have been changed to reflect what the limit should have been all along. I’m now looking to have the court dismiss the ticket and refund the fines, and if they don’t I’m going to explore a class action suit to refund fines for the past five years because I believe the local police knew they were writing tickets that shouldn’t have been given and if not they should have.
