US Hwy 61 just south of the city limits
A State police cruiser sits parked on the shoulder of the northbound side of the highway. The speed limit drops from 65 to 55 in this area. The trooper pops his trunk open so you can’t easily identify that the vehicle is a police car. The trooper actually sits in the trunk of the car with his lidar to catch you. I have seen him there only in the evening catching commuters coming home from New Orleans direction. Very, very hard to spot if you aren’t aware he’ll be waiting there for you coming home from a long day at work.
