US Hwy 77 entering and leaving town
This town is a major speed trap! The speed on the normally 75 mph Highway drops to 35mph and then 20mph during school zone times. The police have several buildings including gas stations, mechanic shops, etc. that they like to sit at either hiding behind structures or blending in with the normal traffic of the town. The State troopers like to sit at the entrance of town mostly watching for truckers near the 45mph speed reduction and then also at the Stripes Gas station at Baylor and Voss (still US Hwy 77) and drive easily identifiable black and white vehicles that say State Trooper. The city police force has semi-stealth vehicles that are not readily apparent. They mostly target speeders. They have a couple main vehicles: one is a black newer model Jeep and the other is a white newer model Dodge Charger. The city police typically sit right after the signs that reduce down to 35mph, but because the city limits are so small, they do move around and like to hang out near intersections.
