DRIVER BEWARE!!!! I had no idea there was a speed trap here and learned my lesson the hard way. The raggedy, has been town of New Miami is so poor they no longer can afford a police department. Obviously hurting for revenue, they installed mechanical speed monitors at this location that clock you right where the speed limit suddenly drops to 35mph and send you $100 tickets. I infrequently drive this road and was clocked going 50 both going north and south in the same day!!!! I received two tickets in the mail which I can't afford. I haven't had a speeding ticket in several years. I RECEIVED TWO TICKETS IN THE SAME DAY HERE. THERE GOES MY AUTISTIC SON'S CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR. THANKS NEW MIAMI. This is a predatory and deceptive practice not to promote safety, but just to squeeze more money out of unsuspecting people.

Beware, Speed cameras that are mobile, Iam certain that these are not set correctly, I am not a speeder and have not had a speed ticket for 35 years. I know this as a speed trap along with New Miami neighbor of seven mile, I learned this from a friend police officer. I creeped through this town along with seven mile. Within 4 weeks I recieved 7- yes 7 speed camera tickets, After the first one i started to I-phone video my speed, Made no difference, continued to get the tickets without speeding. I have not paid therefore Iam certain as i drive to work I am targeted, I have been pulled over for everything from licence plate light out- it was fine, Stopped for no headlights on but somehow on when officer got up to my car. This and seven mile appently need money, They seem to be so proud of this it has been on the news for how much money they collect. Do not go through these towns and if you have to do not spport the buisness's here, Let the town goverment mess up themselves for their crookery
