US Route 68; Upper Valley Pike; Tremont City
In addition to US 68 and Tremont City, German township police are on Upper Valley Pike where the speed limit changes from 45 to 35 without warning. However, because these tickets initially require you to appear in a "Mayor’s Court" (thereby putting all of the revenue in their pocket), you can request that the case be heard in the "County Court" in Springfield. At least, German township doesn’t get all of your money that way.

This township definately operates speedtraps to fund their government functions. It is troubling the State of OH allows this type of behavior from otherwise respectable law enforcement officers. Unfortunately, the state legislature has not addressed this issue.
