Valleydale Road near US Highway 280

Hoover police can be seen sitting right past Inverness Elementary School on Valleydale Road at pretty much any time of day. Almost everytime I am driving on that stretch from Hwy. 280 to about Inverness Country Club I see someone pulled over. It is especially bad around school time. While the school zone speed limit is 25 mph, they will pull you over for going 30 mph even 2 hours after school has let out, when the sign is no longer flashing. Watch out through there at all times of day though. 35-40 mph seems to be a safe speed at night if you happen to see a cop.

The Hoover police are some of the worst in the state. They act like super troopers and some of them scream at you when they pull you over to see what kind of reaction they can get. People should post names of the officers and create a site to get the ones who are found to be the most abusive. The entire Valledale road is as many speed traps as they can find even if they are outside of the Hoover area. I suggest keeping your video camera on your phone filming them when they pull you over and posting it on you tube to expose them.
