Veterans Avenue near Washington Street
Veterans Ave. just south of Washington St. is a barren back road with RR tracks running on one side and a river on the other yet it’s posted at 25mph. It should be 40mph at least!

This is VERY old information. The railroad tracks are gone and a recreational bike/walking path (Eisenbahn Trail) has been put in along with a remodeled and soon-to-open historic train depot where restrooms will be available. The road has been moved and reconfigured, and there are no squads there. Try the road - it's quite nice, ending at the south end in a round-about!
