Village of Marshallville, Marshallville PD
They can be parked in several places in town. In particular, they like to park south of the square, just south of Gerstenslager St, where they are shielded from northbound traffic by vegetation. However, it really does not matter where they sit because if you take the case to court, they will state they parked somewhere else, such as just at the southern limits of the village where the speed limit changes from 35 to 50. You do not need to be speeding to be pulled over! I would suggest taking a photo of any radar you see in town, having a speedometer app open in your vehicle to verify your speed through town if you should be stopped (and to use these things for your court appearance), and to record the traffic stop conversation on your smart phone. (Make sure you state where the officer was parked that day and that you were NOT speeding, if you were not.) I had to learn this the hard way.
