Vine Street near US Highway 24
Officers will sit at the school at the enterence. Coming from the country to the town goes from 55mph to 35 mph and he will catch you.

Longtime Roanoke resident, here. I drive 67 mph all the time on U.S. 24 in the 60 mph zone, dropping to 55 when I hit the town's 50 mph limit. I've never been bothered, and I'm pretty sure you won't be, either, unless you do something ill-advised right in the face of a cop.
Town cops and ISP do like to hang out at the Lassus Handy Dandy convenience center (U.S. 24 and Vine St.). On the other hand, the town has recently cut its force to only one full-time officer, the town marshal himself.
