The residential area between Oxnard Blvd. and Ventura Blvd. (in particular the section that curves right and then left) is ALWAYS monitored by an officer on a motorcycle, usually with a radar gun. This area is posted as 40mph, but it BEGS to be driven at least 60. You WILL get nabbed; I have several times. The posted speed limit is fair: I often see people running across the street, cars pulling out, etc. But the cops know people feel the need for speed here, and they take advantage of it. Don’t be a statistic!
