Motorcycle officer occasionally parks in high school parking lot to enforce 25 mph speed limit while students are coming to school. I have passed through this at up to 35 mph without getting his attention – so there must be a fair degree of cushion added. I suspect he is looking for speeding students or commuters blowing by the school at a high rate of speed. Not an unreasonable tactic but a location to be aware of.
