Cop cars hide at the legion building parking lot and some times in the cemetary to picking up speeders. I worked in the city for year and they were always here..

They do like to sit at those locations, but also in the park across the road from the Legion and at the school parking lot on the south end of town. Watch for them in the cars waiting to be serviced at the local tire shop. It's easy to hide amongst other cars.
