If you’re leaving downtown St. Paul via West 7th/Fort Rd, there is a hill right after you pass St. Clair Ave. An unmarked police car typically waits at the bottom of the hill with a radar gun; posted speed limit is 30 but it’s easy to pick up speed coming down the hill. I’ve been stopped twice in two months, once right near the MacDonald’s and once a little further up near Jefferson (I drive this route a lot).
