West Lakeshore Street

This location is right across the Appleby College. There is a convenience store and police wait in the driveway. The speed limit is 40km/hr and cops usually wait during school hours.

Comments:
There was a car in front of me turning into the school so I slowed down to a near stop. When he made his turn, I put my foot on the gas to go again. As I was leaving the school zone I thought we were back in the 50km speed limit. It didn't feel like I was speeding.... But apparently he showed me I was going 66. He was waiting directly in front of the 50km post in an unmarked vehicle that appeared to be apart of the other handy men working on houses nearby. He even had his trunk open with "supplies" inside. It was clear I was just on my way to work as I had my scrubs on. He gave me 15 over and stood there for a moment as though I should be grateful. If this isn't speed entrapment, I don't know what is. It's petty attacks on hardworking, innocent citizens like this that people don't respect and feel like they can't rely on the police. So disheartening.
