After driving over fifty years with no speeding tickets, I was ticketed for going 47 in a 35 mile per hour area in Kiowa... going into town from Denver. The local truck in front of me was going at the same speed as were cars behind me. The locals went on and I was ticked big time... with an out of state license. The officer, though very nice, told me if I paid it within a certain time there would be no points on my insurance. If not, I would get three, if I remember right. I sent the money. I commented that I guess I was helping the local economy and he agreed. Watch out for this one!
