Westbrook rd Road near Albert Road

Brookville, OhioMay 01, 20082 Comments

Cop sits to the east of Albert rd on Westbrook rd. They are catching people coming into town on Westbrook. The speed limit drops from 45 to 25. They sit just inside city limits over a hill, so when you go over the hill heading west on westbrook its too late.

Comments:
This is not a speed trap period! The Brookville PD is doing a GREAT JOB TRYING TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE IN THIS COMMUNITY FROM CARELESS DRIVERS. I will ask one question. Would YOU want PEOPLE BUZZING BY YOUR HOUSE AT 55 MPH when you live in a residential area limited to 25 MPH? I live in this zone on Westbrook Rd. I hope they double or triple the fines for speeding in this area.

It is a speed trap. Just because your house is on a country road does not make it a residential area. If you really want to slow people down and it is a residential, ask them for a speed bump. The speed limit should be 35
