Where Hwy 330 becomes Hwy 18 in Running Springs
Just as you enter the Running Springs area the speed limit drops to 35 MPH. The CHP hang out at the 76 station and get folks coming up the hill that don’t change speeds from 55 down to 35.

Actually, the speed drops to 30 mph, and the Highway Patrol often sit at the intersection just past the bridge (for Hwy 18) that crosses over 330 as you enter the Running Springs area.
