Where speed drops without much notice

My 18-year old daughter was pulled over, not seeing the speed limit change (75 to 65). I’m fine with her getting a ticket for speeding and even for missing a posted sign, but the office who pulled her over was rude and unprofessional. She was a little frightened, since she was alone and had never gotten a ticket, so had tears in her eyes. He told her to save the tears and said, “What do you care anyway? Mommy and daddy are going to pay the ticket for you anyway.” Really? As a matter of fact, she’s a full-time college student who works two jobs, so no, Mommy and Daddy aren’t paying for her ticket, and $180 is indeed a hardship on a college student. We love and support our men in blue but it’s guys like this who lack discernment and don’t know how to respect people who give the rest a bad name. Big man picking on a 5’4″, 110 lb. teenager.
