As you proceed north from Pleasantdale street, Whites Canyon curves to the right. Deputies often park at the curb well around the bend with their radar. By the time that you see their car, it is too late to check your speed. Be sure to be going 40MPH or less along this stretch. I live near this spot, and when the deputy is there I hear him blip his siren to pull someone over every 10 minutes or so for hours on end. Officers also watch southbound (downhill) traffic on Whites Canyon, but there isn’t a convenient spot for them to hide in this direction.
