York Road Between Register Avenue and Bosley
The entire stretch of road is a giant enforcement zone. Tonight, I saw no fewer than six different police cars belonging to three different agencies in this stretch. One State Trooper cut across two lanes to make a hard right onto Cross-Country to nail someone. A Baltimore County cruiser did a hard U-turn to tail someone. Towson University Police also frequent the area. The County police are by far the most aggressive – they will hide in the driveways, the side streets, and in the frontage road between Register and Stevenson. They especially like the Doctor’s Office just North of Stevenson and the driveways of the Medical Offices near the bottom of the big hill. Don’t go more than five mph over the limit here, and for Heaven’s Sake, make sure your tags are clean – they are quite vigilant in enforcing out-of-date registrations, emissions, and other tag troubles. If you must go through Towson, Charles Street and even Loch Raven Boulevard are much safer.
