Cleveland, Tennessee Speed Traps

Cops usually sit in front of where the Christian bookstore used to be. They almost always face Georgetown road (Highway 60) looking for speeders as you come down the hill.

Once you turn off of Freewill Rd. onto Villa Dr., watch out! The police usually sit in the driveways of 2 different appartment complexes. One is on the left and the other is on the right. The one on the left is at the bottom of the hill, and the one on the right is at the top of the next hill, before you get to the bridge. They sit facing both ways, and most cops have forward and rear facing radar.

Just as you come to the crest of the hill before exit 20, they sit down in the gully of the Median. It’s too late by the time you see him.

Got caught by radar on APD40 in February at 3:05 a.m. on the way to work, be careful, they don’t stop truckers, only cars………….

Once you pass through Broad Street and continue on towards Keith Street be careful and watch your speed especially coming down the hill. I got a speeding ticket just before Christmas time. Mainly at night you will see the police sitting over at Harris Auto. The speed limit is 30 on all of Inman Street but you have to ride your brakes from Broad Street to pretty much Harris Auto if you want to avoid getting a ticket.
