Cleveland, Tennessee Speed Traps
Interstate 75 near Exit Number 27
The spot is just past the exit on the leFort Enforcement is both north and south bound. The agencies vary but the location is used frequently. Usually there are at least two although I have seen as many as four.
Interstate 75 near Mile Marker 29
This speed trap only applies to southbound 75, but is very heavily policed by Drug Task Force (DTF), Cleveland PD, Bradley County SO, and THP. DTF is by far the worst, as they will pull you over if you have out of state tags and are fitting a certain profile. (NOTE: I live in bradley county and work in chattanooga on the ambulance, and not only have I seen them pull people over for no reason, I have a radio in my vehicle with their frequencies and have heard them do it.)
Westside Drive near Douglas Circle
I frequently see someone pulled over in this area during all times of day. Officers daily park in areas just off of the drive or will pull over individuals in passing. I’ve witnessed this too often to count. Be extra careful in the morning and evening times.
Interstate 75 near Mile Marker 22
law enforcement sits in the median just on the north side of harrison pike overpass.(Cleveland, Bradley County)
Frontage N.W. Road
They are doing radar right by Bengim Crest. They are sitting south bound facing the hill also clocking both forward and backward so watch out. They are getting people just going 1-2 miles over the speed limit!
