US 64 Bypass South toward Chattanooga
A stretch of this bypass has the speed limit lowered from 55 to 45. There is no apparent reason for the lower limit. Local police operate radar on this portion 24 hours/day. Some cars are unmarked, but if you look closely you can spot a "Barney Fife" under trees on the south bound side. Some of the lower speed limit signs are obscured by tree limbs.
